Dolores Clara Fernández Huerta (born 1930)

Labor leader and civil rights activist. Huerta helped organize the famous strike against growers, and later the national consumer boycott against grapes. Her activism continues today, where she is an advocate for political reform, women’s rights, and immigrant rights.
